Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Scotiabank (Calgary, AB)
Entrevista
First interview: video with HR, about 15-20 minutes. Questions related to Scotia values, requirements that are on job posting.
Second interview: with individual branch assistant managers and customer experience leads(supervisors). Usually in-person at branch, but may be over the phone or video depending on their preference.
I know now that I'm hired, but at the end of the interview they say the HR person decides, but actually the assistant managers/customer supervisors do (depending on if they want you in the branch as a team member), then the HR person vaguely communicates some excuse.

The branch manager contacted me on LinkedIn without applying to any REq ID, and then I got a panel interview with AM and CEL. The panel interview was around 35 min long, and in 4 days, I got a verbal offer from them, and now I am waiting for the written offer letter.

Two-step interview process, The first rounds usually are generic. HR screening ground. Whether you are perfect fit for the role or not. And second will be with the branch manager if you are applying for the retail branch.

Stimulating conversations. Loved the interaction. The interviewers were well informed and asked me interesting questions; they genuinely seemed to be interested in my answers. They answered all my questions as well. Described the organization culture to me.
