I was then invited to take an electrical an mechanical skills test, in which I had passed them both. I then had an interview with the National Service Manager. That interview went well. Finally, I followed up with the hiring manager. About a week later, the hiring manager gave me a verbal offer. Although the salary was less than my expectations, I still considered accepting the offer. I was planning on signing the offer letter after my background check and drug test. However, a misunderstanding between management and HR, I needed to sign the offer letter. That miscommunication was the reason for declining the offer. Also, the pay cut would have drastically affected my financial situation.
