It felt like I was having a conversation with a long-time friend instead of a formal interview. I was particularly pleased to note that all the individuals I met with during the interview process were women. This demonstrated to me that the company values women and provides them with opportunities to hold authoritative positions. This is an aspect of the company culture that I am excited to be a part of. After applying in April and interviewing with the necessary parties, I did not receive any communication for several weeks. I was later called in for another interview and provided my salary expectations on multiple occasions. However, the initial offer was lower than my expectations, and when I tried to negotiate a closer salary to what I was looking for, I was informed that they were seeking someone for an entry-level position.
