it was nice easy and pleasant, to say the least ! not too hard questions and mostly basic sales questions! they wanted to know if I have sales experience or not and how well I can handle customers if I have been a cashier before or not.

Safeway usually takes online applications. A friend of mine had been called for the position but didn't get it because she was a full-time student. I wasn't a student, and got in the car as soon as she told me to run over there and give them my resume. They basically hired me on the spot.
