It took 8 weeks to receive a first call. I spoke with the hiring manager first and then followed up by the hiring manager again and the other Senior Windows Administrator. I was then told I had the job and to wait for an offer letter. I received no offer letter. After a week, I called again and they assured me there was an offer letter coming that Friday. This happened two more times and then I waited 2 more weeks and they stopped answering my calls. I email them, called them and sent messages on LinkedIn, trying to ascertain the situation, whether I should move on or if there was actually an offer letter coming, but my contact was completely avoided. I finally gave up after a 15 week process from start to finish, realizing they just didn't have the decency to tell me there was no offer letter coming. A friend of mine who is an attorney says I may have some legal recourse because I had lost wages based on their lying to me, but I hate going to court so I probably won't sue them.
