Applied early April. Received a request for a phone interview which seemed to go well. Two weeks after that, I received an invitation to interview in person. I interviewed with two groups of two, apparently I was interviewing for two separate teams which I was unaware of. Both sets of interviews seemed to go pretty well, and the last manager of the second set advised me the next steps would be completing a technical assessment (word, excel, etc). I was hopeful since she mentioned the next steps so specifically. One week later, no assessment, sent follow up email. Following week received a denial email, generic reasoning. Overall I felt the process was good, but the manager left me hopeful explaining the next steps that never came. It was very misleading. I feel I was completely qualified for this position based off of my experience, but STERIS seems to like you a lot more if you have a degree vs having tons of experience.
