I applied right after my graduation project presentation a recruiter called a saturday afternoon and asked me to be there in Cairo tomorrow at 10 am. I couldn't get any tickets to cairo but it didn't matter anyway the train was late and I called to tell them I'd be a half an hour late, the taxi got lost on the way and I called a couple of times to confirm the address. The recruiter asked why i was late and why did i pick the train and didn't drive since i own a car, asked me a lot pof personal question, background, family, character, future expectations, why schlumberger wether i'd like to work in the field or as an R&D engineer. A risk I've taken recently, and that work in SLB gives very little time for personal and social life, about my love life, how it'd be affected as female in Egypt, It wouldn't be easy to get married.
Some technical questions related to radiation handling (i am a nuclear and radiation engineer), some questions related to my graduation project, difficulties we encountered, leadership and conflicts with teammates.
A question about facing a situation with very little resources and how i managed to succeed and solve the problem with what i had.
It lasted about an hour, the recruiter told me i'd get an answer in 7 work days, in 4 days i got my response and turns out that i passed and moved to the second interview.Except that i had to wait for 11 months for the second interview, i have yet to recieve the interview details, all i know is that it's a group interview.
