      I participated in a video call interview where English was the primary language used, and some conversational Japanese was used towards the end. There were a total of 4-5 interviewers, including HR and an individual who wasn't initially invited. During the interview, one of the interviewers left without notifying me, which I found to be unprofessional. Overall, the process felt somewhat basic, with limited opportunities for meaningful interaction and discussion. The interview process felt very mediocre, with limited opportunities for meaningful interaction and a lack of personal connection. It seemed as though the interviewers were simply going through the motions without investing much effort or interest in the candidate. Following the interview, I received feedback that I found disappointing. While I understand that not all candidates are a perfect match for every role, I was surprised to hear that my experiences were deemed insufficient, as they were clearly outlined in my resume. This shows a serious deficiency in candidate selection which could have been prevented by READING MY RESUME. Thank god that I've dodged a bullet and wasted only 1 hour. SIDE NOTE for future non-Japanese candidates, MAKE SURE you are NOT being taken advantage of where companies may use you as just a candidate quota so that they can have an excuse for the government to allow them to increase foreigner hiring quota so that they can hire Japanese. I know it's hard to find out but you should be able to see some red flags with glass door reviews. This is a super unethical practice.
