      Entrevista para Marketing Position

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Rotary (Evanston, IL) en abr 2019

      Entrevista

Initial phone interview with HR followed up quickly with a phone interview with hiring manager. I was called back for two in-person interviews with team members. The team members I met with were talented and friendly. The office space is bright and organized, and the interview process was efficient. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to interview with an organization that’s so invested in doing good. Although the interview process was efficient and the team members friendly, it felt a bit disjointed. For each in-person interview, HR initiated the interview experience but at the end of the interview, neither HR nor the hiring manager were present which made aligning on the next step in the process or identifying who to follow up with unclear. There also seemed to be a bit of confusion in the job role itself especially with interviewers outside the department and how they connected to the role specifically. This lead to questions that seemed unrelated to the job posting as outlined without further context or briefing to the internal structure or a specific project. Some up front internal alignment coupled with a briefing and strategic project assignment would have been a great way to create a cross-departmental thread of understanding with interviewers while assessing my skillset more specifically. While I’ll admit I was disappointed after not hearing back regarding the status of the role after following up, all in all it was a good experience with an organization I admire.
