My experience with this company was HORRIBLE, and I would not recommend it to anyone with work experience. The truth is that when I applied, I was very excited to work for that company. Following the initial HR screening, I was interviewed by the CTO, who then sent me a web development technical test. I put my heart and soul into that technical test, and days passed with no feedback. I followed up with him via email, but he did not respond. I was so interested in working there that I took the initiative to call the company a few days later and speak directly to the CTO to ask him how he evaluated the test results, to which he replied that he barely saw my sent test and would take a closer look at the end of the day. I never heard from the company again after a few days, weeks, or months. Instead of providing a proper update to the candidate, he completely ignored me. If a candidate is not hired for any reason, the right thing to do is to respond honestly and not give false hope, much less ghost the candidate, especially if he expresses interest in working for the company. Instead of being transparent, the same guy who ghosted me sent me a Linkedin request a few months later, saying he was looking for someone with my profile and experience. Obviously, I didn't respond to him because of my previous negative experience with him. If he had been transparent months ago when I expressed interest, and even honest enough to tell me that I was not chosen instead of lying and giving me false hope, I would have responded positively, especially since I now work remotely for international companies, which has given me invaluable experience Rootstock could have used. Based on the other reviews I've read about this company, it's safe to say I dodged a bullet. They only communicate with candidates who have been chosen, and if you are not one of them, they treat you like garbage and completely ignore you. Puse mi corazón y alma en esa prueba técnica, y pasaron días sin comentarios. Lo seguí por correo electrónico, pero no respondió. Nunca volví a saber de la compañía después de unos días, semanas o meses. En lugar de proporcionar una actualización adecuada al candidato, me ignoró por completo. Si por alguna razón no se contrata a un candidato, lo correcto es responder con honestidad y no dar falsas esperanzas y mucho menos eclipsar al candidato, sobre todo si expresa interés en trabajar para la empresa. En lugar de ser transparente, el mismo tipo que me hizo un fantasma me envió una solicitud de Linkedin unos meses después, diciendo que estaba buscando a alguien con mi perfil y experiencia. Obviamente, no le respondí debido a mi anterior experiencia negativa con él. Si hubiera sido transparente hace meses cuando expresé mi interés, e incluso lo suficientemente honesto como para decirme que no fui elegido en lugar de mentirme y darme falsas esperanzas, habría respondido positivamente, especialmente porque ahora trabajo de forma remota para empresas internacionales, lo que me ha brindado una experiencia invaluable que Rootstock podría haber utilizado.
