Roku reached out to me after I had interviewed a few years prior (I had taken another role before completing their interview process). I met with the hiring manager and I should’ve just passed after HR had warned me that he could be “difficult/not overly friendly”. He had met me the year before and seemed to have no idea that they had contacted me. From start to finish he acted like he’d rather be spending his time doin something else. As a reminder to companies during interviews, candidates are evaluating you as much as you are them.
