I saw an ad online for a command center operator and applied. I received an email from a recruiter within a few days of applying to the job (impressive). I set up an interview with another recruiter. During my interview, the recruiter asked questions about my background and questions related to the job role. He also gave me tips on what to expect during my onsite interview at the autonomous vehicle startup (NURO). Days went by, and I hadn't heard anything about scheduling for the onsite, so I sent two or three emails and finally got a response (starting to get disappointed). After my onsite interview at Nuro, I sent a follow-up email to Rocket Power a few weeks later asking for status since I had not heard anything. Crickets! No response (disappointed). I am glad I've learned to keep on interviewing because companies will ghost you. I think it is extremely rude and unprofessional to not respond to candidates who took the time out of their day to go on an interview. A simple "they chose another candidate" would have sufficed. I wouldn't recommend any company use Rocket Power.
