Process took almost 4 months.
Initially was referred and contacted by recruiter. After introduction call, next had call with Principal engineer, had only conversation about the position, he asked without coding several question. After 1 month(i was thought at that time they just ghosted) my referral helped me and pinged recruiter, he get back to me and initiated new interview zoom call, this time i talked to VP and asked to code simple things, and more questions were asked. After 2 weeks recruiter get back to me and wanted to schedule more calls with him, also last minute he cancelled it and rescheduled, at that call he said hiring team not sure and asked one more screening interview. At the last screening interview i was asked to code, but that was kind of system design interview.
I have feeling that during interview process, they don't actually hiring, they delay as much as they can. Recruiter copy pasted description multiple times with mistakes, delaying the process and wasting time to talk with him multiple times. So i had feeling he just wasting company time for high payment to pitch the hiring process for management.
From the pros i was able to speak with great engineers , however i don't really have feedback from them.
Reach out by recruiter, set up phone screen interview. 60 min coding interview. A leetcode style question with 3 follow up , overall experience is good got reject 2 weeks afterward.
The phone screen was surprisingly technical and lasted about 45 minutes, diving straight into system design. I was asked to design a leaderboard service, which caught me off guard at first. But as I started to outline my approach, I realized it was similar to a challenge I’d practiced on prachub.com just days before. The subsequent technical rounds were intense, focusing on DSA problems and scalability issues. In the end, I got an offer that I happily accepted, despite the difficulties I faced throughout the process.

Design a leaderboard service that supports tens of millions of concurrent players. Cover top-K queries, neighbor-rank queries, partial sharding, and consistency tradeoffs.
Reached out by HR and chatted with a hiring manager. Mostly Behavioral questions such as why you want to work at roblox. The conversation was great and smooth. But they rejected me after a few days.
