The process was probably the best interview process I’ve been through. Everyone was understanding and super helpful in answering questions. I learned a lot about the company in the process. I also appreciate that it’s not as technically focused as other processes (excluding coding assessment).

Coding assessment, follow up to assessment, typical SWE behavioral questions
Two over the phone screening interviews that took roughly an hour each. One with the recruiter and one with the hiring manager. Afterward I was given a take-home technical test where they wanted me to match a collection of drug names to their side effects. It was a fair test in my opinion. The next phase was what I had an issue with. The next phase of their interview process at the time (and I know they aren't the only ones who do this) was having to meet with at least 5 different groups of people throughout the day, ultimately causing me to book an impromptu vacation day just so I could attend... for a job I wasn't guaranteed of course. And yes, I did ask if it could be broken up and was told no. In my opinion, this was pretty inconsiderate. It was a remote position, with a team that was all remote. I don't understand why it couldn't have been broken up over several days and times with whoever they wanted me to meet with, but here we are -- and all I have to show for it is a rejection letter and a wasted vacation day.

you are first asked behavioral questions and then you are asked to talk about your experiences and then you have to talk about your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities you are looking for.
