Had 2 phone interviews with recruiter and hiring manager. The recruiter was the one who reached out to me about this job. I have never even heard of RingCentral before this. Hiring manager seemed ok on the phone.
In person interview consists of 4 individuals and 1 HR at the end. Met with someone from Tax, SEC reporting and Director of Revenue. Those interviews were good. They told me how busy they are at the company but overall how great it is. Then hiring manager comes in and starts telling me to don’t expect to see family or friends or don’t expect to go to school part time at this job. She looked down at my degree and then few minutes later asked me when I plan on going back to get an MBA/ Masters. I was shocked with the way the interview was going and almost walked out. Since it would be unprofessional, I continued to the end. At the end, I told the HR person that this isn’t the right for for me. I definitely do not want to work for a manager that expect me to have absolutely no work life balance and makes someone feel like an idiot.
