Was contacted by a member of the recruitment team to apply for this position, I applied and the next day I had an over the phone interview with another member of the recruitment team, it took around 20 mins, just your average easy to answer interview questions why you applied, what’s interests you about the position, what experience you have, salary, etc.. they then pass your answers on to the hiring manager, I did ask for a weeks notice so I could organise it around my work, around a week later I received another phone call from the recruitment team to book an on site interview with the hiring manager, which I agreed to, I arrived at my interview on time only to find out the hiring manager wasn’t actually there so another team member interviewed me, again it was basic interview questions very similar to the ones over the phone but you obviously have to go in to more detail, I was then told since the hiring manager wasn’t present they couldn’t advise on my salary and I would have to return for another interview, they also asked why I needed a weeks notice as it would’ve been better for them the week before which I feel was a bit unnecessary and a bit unprofessional to mention this . They said they would be in touch in regards to organising another interview, I haven’t hear anything since then, I have tried to follow this up but never gained I reply, annoyingly I wasted half a day and petrol for nothing.
