Good process, recruiter and hiring manager did a good job in terms of setting expectations. Recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and we had 2 video conferences. The interview process at Revolut has various stages and each of the interviewers have veto power over the candidate hiring decision. My first interview was with the recruiter to basically gauge my interest in the opportunity and learn more about my career experiences. The second interview was with the hiring manager. There are additional interviews with functional leaders and peers.

Additional questions on recommendations to localize a financial product offered in the UK and observations on recently launched product in your market. Tip: make sure you take the time to understand the problem , don’t rush to the obvious answers.

The most pathetic interview process I have ever been engaged in. They sent me two emails at the same time - one an interview screening call with a Singapore HR - who just appears to be inexperienced and another to complete a CCAT test. Next day after the HR call, she emailed me to state that I was rejected on the grounds that I am over qualified - I mean you can’t read my CV that is in basic English to learn that I was overqualified before inviting me to your interviews lol? She advertised the job as being remote but during the interview she stated that it’s hybrid - when I asked she said it was a template error. Absolutely wasted my time. Avoid!

Fairly long but clear steps from the beginning, engaged HR rep helped at each stage of the process. Consultant level benchmark regardless of role which seems like it’s working for the company given their expansion. Was it arduous? Yes. Did I learn a lot? Also yes. Perspective matters
