Thank you for your feedback, and for taking the time to interview with FlexPay. I am sorry that the interview process did not provide the clarity you were seeking. Since most of the roles we hire for, including the Web Ops Manager are new positions, identifying the exact day to day for the role can be tricky. We aim to bring in candidates who have strong experience within a similar role, and want to give them as much freedom as possible to build out the role as they see fit based on business needs and their strengths.
Candidate experience is incredibly important to us, and we do our best to ensure that the roles we are hiring for are the roles that will be of most impact to the business at the present moment (while also helping us prepare for the future). Occasionally we make the difficult decision to pause hiring for a specific role in order to push up the filling of another role that is deemed to be of a more urgent need.
