The interview was nice with 2 gentleman who kindly went through my portfolio and previous work experience. I was successful and was given the job role to work with a 3D focused team. I turned up on day 1 and was placed in a 2D based team that worked on a completely different aspect to my experience and promised job. After asking to be moved the option was dismissed and I was kept in the job I was untrained for and not originally promised in the interview. A direct lie at the interview stage and lack of options built on the lie was not professional to me.
