I received an email asking for my availability for an interview. A virtual interview was scheduled for the next day. The recruiter who took my interview was very polite and understanding. However, in the rejection email they told me that they are looking for someone particularly with x and x skills. These skills were not mentioned in my Cv and neither did i mention them in my interview obviously cause i lack them. My only issue is since they were already aware that i do not possess these skills as i have not mentioned them anywhere in my CV and since they particularly needed me to have that skill then why was there an interview scheduled. It is quite rare that a candidate possesses all the skills mentioned in the job description but most of these skills can be learned on the job as well. Overall I did not learn anything from this experience.
