Entrevista
I was asked to be early because the hiring manager was very busy, but when I got there I waited for about 30-40 minutes. Walking into the office the receptionist was sitting at a desk with her back to the door which I thought was odd. There were two other people in the reception area and while I was filling out some paperwork about three or four other people walked in. The reception area was extremely small and there was only one office where the hiring manager was doing preliminary interviews. When I finally sat down with the hiring manager she told me that they did "direct marketing and event based marketing firm" and their clients were in the "health and beauty, and home goods sector," she said they did road shows and in-store promotions for their clients. She was evasive when I asked exactly what I would be doing and said that if I made it to the second round interview that I would be told then. Basically I figured out the second round was "on location" meaning I would be standing in Costco or Sam's Club attempting to sell people things.

Applied for the job off a job board, got a call soon after saying "My hiring manager noticed your resume, we do event-based marketing, great entry-level position, etc." Arrived for the interview to find five other people in the waiting room (that only sits four) waiting for their interviews. I waited 30 minutes to have a five minute interview, in which the "hiring manager" (who also happens to be the president of the company) promised potential of $75K+ salaries.
The ACTUAL position they have you doing is managing roadshows in grocery stores, barely making $500 a week. I cancelled my second interview. This does not seem like a legitimate company.
