Was reached out to by a recruiter with an extremely vague opening at the company via indeed. I clicked the autogenerated "interested" option and that was it. About a week later I get a call from him and the conversation goes well, the position and the company sound like a good fit, and he sets up a follow-up interview with the regional vp in my area. At the end of the follow-up, the vp says he will be in town the following week, and gave a two day window for possible availabilities. He said that he or the recruiter would reach out to set specific times. I send a follow-up email as is customary after an interview thanking for their time and expressing interest in talking further, two days go by no response from either. Friday comes around and I call the recruiter, nothing, send a final follow-up since the next tuesday was a potential opening and my schedule was filling up. I didn't hear anything until Monday, and it was a brief one sentence response, "I have a message asking for availability." That was it, and that was over a week ago, and no response or follow-up after flat out saying their would be an in person interview.
