It's an information session and then you get matched to a lead tutor. Process is super easy and the website gives you a script when tutoring children. Overall, a good volunteer experience and has a flexible schedule.

Asked about hours and experience working with children in an educational environment. Other than that they were happy to take on volunteers. Most of the other volunteers were temporary so they might ask you that.

The interview process was extensive since I would be working with children. They asked many questions about background history and also heavily vetted morality. I applied online initially and shortly afterwards (one day) I received my first call to set up the interview. I was told to have documents (specified) prepared and what to expect so I was able to prepare myself. The interview was very casual and laid back. Friendly atmosphere and Volunteer Coordinate aaas helpful and informative.
