Horrible experience from start until the actual interview. The interview itself was w/ 4-5 men they were all cordial, professional. My mistake was being too optimistic. Near the end I found an opening to ask where physically I would be working as my experience has been that some large companies have more than 1 "Reception" area. It was confirmed (late in the interview) I would be at times working w/ the WITCH that is lousy at her job based on how she processed me when I arrived. I walked up to the desk friendly professional courteous she refused to look me in the eye eventually at some point she glanced at me. She from the moment of our encounter began was simply excruciatingly rude. The other Receptionist, there were 2, clearly noticed this she at some point jumped in and took over. She was much more amicable. It was almost as if she was apologizing to me with her eyes. Then I was left to sit and wait for the interview to begin which is normal. But, I was there almost 30 minutes without a word from anyone. No one approached me to apologize even if they did not yet know why there was a delay typically the visitor is communincated with out of courtesy. So already I don't agree with how they operate. Rackspace was very well aware of the fact that I would be doing this on my lunch break. And rock RS was nowhere near where my other job was at the time. Albeit temp I still wanted to respect their inconvenience of me going on this interview. They knew I had an interview but still. There was barely a mention or half-hearted gesture at apologizing for the delay. This was a part-time low paying "on call" job. I was told that I could start whenever I wanted. I was willing to maybe make a go of it with this horrible person but I had asked for some information as a follow-up to help me make my decision. I did not receive it.
