My end-to-end experience was far and away better than any company I've ever interviewed with in terms of organization, preparation, friendliness, and overall quality. 1. Call with a recruiter to discuss Quora. 2. Interview with the hiring manager to discuss a project and do an app critique. 3. One-on-one technical interview solving a few basic exercises (CSS, vanilla JS, and React). 4 - 7. Multi-step interview day which consisted of a group presentation of your past work to the design team, a product whiteboarding exercise, an interaction design exercise, and finally an interview with the Head of Design. They did a great job of making sure I was prepared for every step and tried to make a long and stressful process as straight forward as possible. Although I did not receive an offer, they followed up with in-depth feedback about their decision-making process which is nearly unheard of in the tech industry. It's clear they care about the success of their candidates and making sure they have a good experience.

I applied online. The process took 1+ months. I interviewed at Quora, Inc in Sep, 2019. Had an initial call with the recruiter. The recruiter was unprofessional, pretentious and condescending. She questioned me for anything she didn't want to hear about. Also, she put the incorrect job title when she confirmed the interview with me.
