I had a superb experience interviewing here. The whole staff from the HR team to the managers are cool, professional, and personable. They focus on company culture fits and it shows. The office unit was nice and it’s on the 18th floor, situated next to the Block. Pulse Management works with large Fortune 500 clients and are rapidly expanding into different regions. Their client wants the staff to be larger so the team needs to grow fast. Some previous interview reviews are slanderous to their name, and I will defend Pulse because they are not true and I had a positive experience with their Managing Partner. First off, to those who think this is a Pyramid Scheme... look up the definition of a pyramid scheme. It’s when you make the people at the bottom pay for the services so they have to find new people. Hiring and training a team below you is not a pyramid scheme, it’s just management and recruitment at any company. Pulse just happens to have a large client that’s pushing them to do more work (=need more employees). Some person complained they lied about free parking... Look again buddy, it was free at the parking in front of the building. I was extended an offer, but my long-term goals didn’t align with what they wanted, which was to get you into management and leadership roles ASAP so they can continue to expand. I would have taken it if I didn’t have my own career path figured out. I would recommend working with Pulse in all other cases. I will recommend for those who are interested to focus on being professional because you will be working with Fortune 500 companies (dress the part, do NOT wear jeans like some interviewees I’ve seen). Ask questions about the company’s goal and vision because as a future partner in the firm, you owe it to yourself to understand where Pulse is headed and how you can help them to win together. They’re looking for culture fits too so both of you don’t waste your time down the line. Best of luck to the Pulse Management Group team. Was a pleasure!
