I applied via LinkedIn and was asked to attend 40 mins call to discuss the position with the recruitment agency - at this point I did not know who the company was. As an intro call, this was tough, some of the things I was told did not seem to add up either, like having 20 people in marketing but only a 150k annual budget when a lot of marketing was through paid for channels. They asked a number of technical questions and also described some of the difficulties within the company, the two owners seemed like they would be difficult to work with. After the interview I looked up the company and then read some of the reviews on here, I would not have proceeded if I had been asked. However I was told I would not get any feedback but I would receive a yes or no answer if I was to proceed. Never heard back and not at all bothered :)
