I was called in to interview after following up via email on a rejection email for a different position I applied for (Tip: Always follow up!). The first interview was really easy going. It was with 4 managers and myself. Typical questions: "What do you know about what Procore does?", "Do you know anything about construction?" "Tell me about X experience on your resume". They also had many questions on my outside activities, hobbies, and interests for cultural fit purposes. The interview was one of the most friendly interviews I've ever done. There was a lot of laughing involved and light hearted conversation. (Tip: Even if you're not feeling comfortable, fake it until you make it! Procore values its company culture that accepts all types of personalities, introverts and extroverts alike, so make sure to show your true self!).
A day later, I was notified that I will be moving onto the writing sample.
Because my position was a writer position, I had a writing sample to complete. This involved writing a Q&A article on how to complete a complex task within Procore's software.
A day later, I was called to schedule a second interview.
Second interview was with a smaller group (3) of different people but including the manager I would work under from the first interview. It was basically a repeat of the first interview. Same questions: experience, cultural questions, etc.
Three days later, I was offered the job via email.
