A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and scheduled a call. While it was lacking in structure, the phone call went well and I was told they would be setting up an interview where I’d speak with the CEO (who also reached out to me on LinkedIn prior). A few days went by and I didn’t hear back. I followed up with the recruiter and was assured they’d send everything over that same day. Fast forward to now… I’ve clearly been ghosted when a simple rejection letter would’ve sufficed. I take it as a blessing because clearly we have different morals.
