The interview started normally. By the third question, it became clear the owner was trying to get strategy information out of me. All the questions were regarding what specific things I would do for their business before their product has even launched.
The owner expected me to have a strategy for his product ready to go, during an unpaid preliminary interview... all to support a product that does not yet exist. I'm glad I read the other Glassdoor review here before I hopped in.
I was worried by the term "performance-based culture" as I've universally found it to be an overtime codeword for "work until you hit your KPIs."
Additionally, PredictAny does not have any benefits, holidays, or PTO at this time. Maybe this will change, but I'd stay far, far away from this company for at least a few years (and wait until their product has launched) before even considering another application. .
