      The process went very quickly (a bit over 1 week from the time of my application submission). Danielle was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the interview process, providing valuable information surrounding next steps, position/ company details and expectations. Both my phone and in-person interviews were conducted with grace and professionalism, with all parties presenting with very warm and welcoming demeanors which helped me manage those typical job interview jitters. During my visit to the physical location, other staff greeted me and exhibited genuine kindness, offering reassurance and tips about the process which made me feel supported and "at home" before the actual interview even began. I am definitely excited about joining this team!

      The interview process straight forward and was about 6 weeks from initial application to accepting and offer and clearing the drug screening and background check. I applied directly on the PGE website, but I also saw the position listed on Indeed. After applying as was contacted about a phone interview, which was followed up 3-4 days later with an in-person interview. Approximately 10 days after the in-person interview, I received a job offer. Once the offer is accepted, there is a background check and drug screening that takes about 7 days to complete. The process in its entirety was streamlined and provided great feedback as to where in the process you were and potential next steps you could expect.

      I had a really positive experience with the interview process at Portland General Electric. I applied on 4/1 and, to my surprise, the process moved very quickly—I had my in-person interview and received a job offer the same day, (pending standard contingencies like background check and drug screening). Less than a week for the process. In a time where most hiring processes feel long and drawn out, this was the complete opposite. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and communicated clearly throughout. The recruiter was very informative and responsive, which made the process feel a lot less stressful. One thing I really appreciated was that they provided a list of potential interview questions ahead of time. That helped me feel prepared and gave me a better sense of what to expect going in. Overall, the interview itself felt very fair and straightforward. It was clear they were looking to understand your experience and how you approach different situations, rather than trying to catch you off guard. It was a refreshing experience, and I really appreciated how efficient and thoughtful the entire process was.
