The interview process includes an interview with a Pinterest coordinator/recruiter who was thorough and informative as well as kind and very professional. The second was with the manager over Trust & Safety for 30 minutes through Google Meet. As soon as the video connected and the manager looked up and said "oh hi!" I knew then she realized my name didn't match my race. However, her questions were good and because I have the skills they were easy to answer but I think the job description is not the same as the actual job because she mentioned that it's more of a review type of position. I think they should revamp the job description because it's more of a content moderator description than content review. Either way it was a decent interview but I knew as soon as we got off the video call I would not be selected because the interviewer seemed uninterested. I don't think I fit their Trust & Safety team aesthetic. Or maybe I just wasn't a good fit. I feel like it could've been both. Don't let that deter you from applying and being confident in your skills.
