They told me they cared most about finding someone with the right 'fit,' and their willingness to have an organic conversation instead of a strict Q-and-A session proved that point. They were impressed when I asked them if there was anything on my resume they were hesitant about, and spoke with candid honesty about their doubts, which I was able to address directly.
