      Entrevista

      Interview Process: I went through two rounds of interviews. The first round was straightforward with technical questions, but the second round with a member of the Talent Team left a poor impression. Interviewers: While most interviewers were professional, one member of the Talent Team conducted the interview in a way that felt disrespectful. The questions were quite basic for someone with my 20 years of experience, but the interviewer doubted my integrity during the session. Incident: During the interview, while answering an iOS-related question, the interviewer accused me of looking aside and suspected I was cheating. I explained that I wasn’t looking at my face on the camera because it distracts me while thinking, and even showed her my surroundings to clarify there was nothing around to cheat from. Despite this, she asked me to share my screen as if to verify further. My Perspective: With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, I found this treatment unprofessional and unwarranted. At this stage of my career, answering such questions comes naturally, and implying that I was cheating felt inappropriate and disrespectful. Timeline: The process was relatively quick. After the first round, I was contacted within a day for the second round. Preparation Advice: Be prepared for the potential of encountering unprofessional conduct during the process, especially from less experienced members of the Talent Team. Feedback: 1) The company should train their interviewers to trust and respect experienced candidates. 2) Doubting someone’s integrity without reason can leave a lasting negative impression. 3) Improve the interview format to evaluate the resources with more practical questions 4) A technical interviewer would be better equipped to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge and address any technical questions that arise. Outcome: The experience left me questioning the company’s culture, and I decided not to proceed further with the process. Final Thoughts: While the company seems to have a rigorous interview process, they need to improve their approach when dealing with seasoned professionals. I would advise others to be cautious.
