Interview is onsite, yes you need to visit them even for the first round. It went on for 40 minutes. First round was taken by HR & Hiring manager both in one meeting. Questions were mixed, few surprises in terms on job requirements which was not published, HR will talk first then HM. They will ask from your resume, the tools you mentioned and will ask to elaborate your previous experience in certain situation.

First, they asked me questions, for example past cleaning that I have done and why I wanted to be a janitor. Then, the manager put videos about safety and how you should treat customers, etc, on a screen for me to watch. Finally, to end the interview the manager showed me around TJ MAXX so I knew where everything was at.
