I applied for the position via a Craigslist ad, and was contacted by phone to set up an interview. I showed up for the interview, and after filling out a paper application I was left waiting for 10-15 minutes in the reception area with employees passing by and not even saying hi or acknowledging me at all. There was a sign posted informing me that I was "on camera", which I thought was kind've weird. When I was finally called in for the interview the man I met with was straight forward, fast paced, came across as a bit arrogant, and had wasted no time "cutting to the chase" so to speak. He didn't seem interested in my skills or abilities, but he did question me many times about why I applied for a part time job, why I decided to change career fields after paying for a medical education, how much I paid for that education, how much I still owed on student loans, and what my parents did for a living. Basically, it was a lot of personal questions that I felt were inappropriate and irrevelant to the interview and the job. Halfway through I stopped being polite and friendly and asked him flat out how any of the information was relevant, why it mattered, and what it had to do with my skills. He seemed to like that I became a real "person" and not another face he had to interview. Overall, the interview wasn't bad at all - just very long.
