I was scheduled for 3 interviews for this position. The first interview was a screening interview and the subsequent interviews were with members from one of the teams. It was never clear if these were potential colleagues or direct hiring managers. The first team interview went well, but the second one did not have the actual manager, but someone in a similar role. I tried to make connections with the interviewer, but the interest level was not as engaging as expected. I was not looking for a best friend, but someone to engage in a conversation about the position and that did not happen.
