The interview process is very challenging. Only about 1 of every 12000 applicants get hired. The interview process is a four step interview. 1st is with the branch manager. After that they put you on the phones and phone canvass for 4 hours. If you set 3 appointments, you move on to interview with the regional manager. If you survive that interview, then you interview with the CEO of the company. In each interview they want a high pepped up version of you. You will have to close each interview by overcoming objections and asking to move forward to the next step. Do research on the company. This is a great opportunity if you get hired but the first year working there will be the toughest. Good luck

Why do you want to work at one of the toughest sales jobs you will ever know of?

Literally having a cold call for three hours straight in the last interview and only getting the job if you set three meetings is insane. You’re also expected to do that from your own personal phone and all the sales reps are blatantly lying on the phone calling into accounts that the previous workers have been calling into for years.

Mostly asking about your experience, not much behavioral questions

Great company on the surface, very badly handled interviews. Recruiter no showed our first call, and the NYC sales manager ran 40+ minutes late to the interview, and hardly asked any relevant questions. All the while he seemed rushed and uninterested. Promised timely feedback on the interview, never actually followed through.

We’re sorry to hear of your unpleasant interview experience. We agree it’s unacceptable to schedule you for an interview and no show or communicate when running that far behind. Holly Carpenter, director of sales recruiting, would like to connect. Please email her at holly.carpenter@paycomonline.com. We wish you the best of luck.

Phone Interview with recruiter. The recruiter was informative of the company and provided many statistics of how the company has grown over the recent years. I enjoyed my interview and believe the company provides a competitive, yet comforting, environment for new hires and interns.
