The hiring process consisted of a phone interview followed by two additional interviews. Once of the interviews allowed you to sit with a payroll specialist and basically see what it's like to work at Paychex. If you were successful in the all of those interviews you are asked to come in for a final interview with the branch manager.

Interview process consisted of 2 interviews and one shadowing session. Interview questions were pretty standard STAR structure. I interviewed in person with one supervisor while one other was on a video call.

I had two interviews. First one was with one manager and the second was with two other managers. The interview s lasted about 30 minutes each. They asked about my payroll background and several questions that started out with, "tell me about a time..."

Very simple. A round table interview with scenario-based questions. They ask mostly about previous interactions with co-workers as well as customers. It is a customer service job and you are dealing with payroll which can get very overwhelming
