      Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Particle Health

      Entrevista

      Applied online. HR screening and hiring manager interviews were scheduled quickly and went well. Hiring manager had a lot of positive indicators, mentioned moving fast for the right candidate, and said they were moving me through. Nothing for several days. Finally heard from the recruiter that they would be doing a panel interview with 6 people. Marketing and sales people were lovely, and I left feeling like those went great. Ops person was there for a month and lacked clear communication skills. Her questions were not well thought out, were very long winded, and made it difficult to give a clear answer in return. It felt like she wanted to create confusion intentionally. The CFO was checked out and clearly was bothered that he had to talk to me. The questions he did ask were asked with no context or examples. For example, he was grilling me about compensation plans and how I would split commission between two sales people, when I have no idea how their plans are structured, what the process is to identify the sales lead, etc. I left that last interview feeling deflated. HR told me I'd hear back early the following week. After I followed up, I got a basic response back that they were moving forward with candidates that were a better fit. It's really unfortunate that two people who were clearly not prepared to interview and seemed very disagreeable had such pull. It seems very novice to have someone with 1 month under their belt in an interview, that doesn't report to them, have this much say. At the end of the day, I guess bullet dodged because working with these last two would have been painful.

      Thank you so much for your feedback as we do not take any negative interview experiences lightly. We have looked into this matter and have come to build out much more thoughtful and structured interview plans along with proper training for current and new hiring managers and interviewers and will continue to put an emphasis on providing the best interview experience as we hope to provide the fairest and most effective process for our candidates.
