Me postulé a través de una agencia de empleos. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Parexel (Hyderabad) en abr 2019
Entrevista
The call came in from Naukri and involved visiting the company office at Hyderabad. The interviews were scheduled at 10 AM but the actual process started at 12.30 keeping every Candidate waiting. A few candidates left in this waiting time as this mismanagement portrays the company work environment.
My process was done and as there was a shortage in panel the R1 & R3 was clubbed. I cleared that round after which I was called for another onsite interview on a weekday. At this time I was told by the HR that there is not an issue with the monetary expectations and we are open for that.
The onsite interview was done and I cleared it as well. Post that I was called for another onsite interview with the CTO of the technology division. This was more of a technical round again and the CTO was pretty impressed at the end of the discussion.
Post this the HR again told me that we are looking forward for you to join the company as I am having a strong profile and there are no issues with the package. This was a Feel GOOD factor that I have got from the company as compared to Day 1 where there was a delay for 2.5 hours in starting the interview process.
After this there was an exchange of emails between me and the HR related to the documents and other details to prepare the offer letter. This exchange included the negotiations on the package as well which was a bit shocking as I was told initially that they are open for compensation. But when the negotiations started happening from HR and everyone from the company I was a bit disheartened, and agreed upon with what they were offering.
After 1.5 month an HR from the team contacted me for doing the background check with the current references before releasing the offer. I was not expecting this as ideally the background check in the current organization is done after leaving the company. But to that I agreed upon and he made a call to all the references which I have provided.
The next day I got an offer from the HR who was doing the hiring, to which I was not satisfied; as the compensation which I was expecting was further reduced and it was included as a joining bonus.
After all this today I have received a call from a partner Hiring consultancy Adecco, which were offering the same profile with the same compensation which I have initially asked. Another shock to me as in case I would have resigned based on the negotiated offer which HR presented, I would have been in a big loss from monetary aspect.
Based on this experience that I have had, I am feeling that I have completely wasted my time with this people.
