Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en PIMCO (New York, NY) en ago 2011
Entrevista
The process started with a gentleman from HR doing an phone interview with me. He was very polite and this was more of a phone call to guide me in the right direction as to how prepare for later interviews. After that, there was one more phone interview with an account associate followed by a super day. Interviews were very macroeconomics and economics and finance current events and outlook (fixed income) oriented.

If no one trusts the big 3 ratings agencies, and they are not accurate, how do you suggest we change this system?

After applying, I spoke to the hiring manager on the phone. This followed with an asynchronous Hirvue, then I had a first round with someone on the team. Finally, the second round was 3 30-minute interviews back to back.
Hirevue interview was fairly easy, they asked 8 questions, 1 was about FI, the others were mainly behavioral and the last was open ended. it wasn't hard, but you should know what is happening around the world.
long process. I met over 10 people in total for the process up to the final. Last is one of the APAC MD - interview itself is not technical and not difficult. Just an average question. During the whole process I met many Directors of sales, They are always asking me to ask questions, One time, the Head started to the interview by asking "is there anything you wanna ask?" So do prepare with lots of insightful questions that make you stands out.
