The interview process was fine. I was interviewed by the person who was going to hire me and then had a second interview with his boss. It did take quite a bit of time to hear back and there was one issue I had. They require references before extending an offer, which normally would be fine. I provided a managerial reference for my previous manager, because I had been in my current role for 5 years. Because the previous manager was "outdated" they required me to submit something from my current employer... without extending me an offer first!? I didn't want my current employer to know I was interviewing elsewhere so it caused a bit of a kerfuffle.
