I was called on my cellphone about the job application, and asked to come into the office for an two in-person interviews. One interview was with the lead Counsel of the firm and the other with the head of HR. After these in-person interviews, I had three more interviews with all the senior partners of the firm. It was a very thorough process, but the partners were all friendly. In the end I wasn't selected for the role, but it was a good learning experience and I was treated with respect by the HR team who contacted me as soon as they knew who was their candidate, so as to not waste my time.
