I submitted my resume for a position at Organic Motion. Four business days later, I got a call from the office manager, who told me about the company and the position. We discussed my qualifications, and why I would be a good fit for the company. Since he wasn't technical, he didn't ask me anything hard. We discussed their flexible work hours and their location near the Empire State Building. At the end he asked me what my expectations for salary would be. When I told him, he said that he would go back to the hiring manager. Since what I was looking for was more than what they would consider offering, they decided to discontinue my candidacy.
