I was contacted within an hour after applying but it looked like an automated message from a bot that had a recruiters signature. First round was a video chat with with two people, one lower level one higher level. Seemed like a very cut and dry job from their description with little room to innovate (i.e. test, report, repeat). Lots of technical questions relating to OWASP security vulnerabilities and remediation which makes sense given the role. Towards the end I was a little thrown off after I asked the director how career progression works and the director replied “wait for your VP to die”. I didn’t make it past this round but turned out to be a blessing; could not have seen myself working at this place.
