I met with the team manager and discussed my background. They asked about my resume in details and my familiarity with the work the team is doing. It lasted around 45 minutes.

The initial interview with the hiring manager went really well. And I thought that the entire seminar + 8 30 min interview process was smooth. However, I did not appreciate how the hiring manager did not respond to my emails when I had questions. Instead, they responded in the email thread with a really blasé rejection. I thought that was really unprofessional to do, even if they weren't going to give me an offer letter. My other concern is that the company demographics is rather skewed towards white men, which could make some people uncomfortable or hesitant to bring up issues.
