Overall, the interview process was straightforward. Scheduled a phone interview with my recruiter, then had a phone interview with the QA director that lasted about an hour. The conversation went smoothly. Connected back with me recruiter and I scheduled a time to come in person. Met with the QA I'd be working with, a few others, and then a QA lead. I did not have to do multiple rounds of interviews because they loved me that much! I'm unsure if they do multiple rounds at all anyways. I got an offer letter a few days later and I've been here since.
When I came to interview, I was brutally honest with what I was looking for in a company and "perks" were not at the top of my list. They do have them though. At the point of my interviewing process, I was so done with my previous company that my mindset was "This is me. This is how I work. If you don't like it, that's ok and I'll move on. No hard feelings." Apparently they liked that a lot. During my orientation, the founder of the company came in to chat with us and give us an "environment/atmosphere" talk. Literally everything that came out of my mouth in my interview he said as well. It was a great feeling and I think I've found my new home.
