The interview process itself was a good experience - they had a friendly face at every step. The recruiter I worked with was the best I've met in my search. That being said, I made it to a final stage in the hiring process and they went with another candidate (a rehire that previously worked there) which is fine but went against everything I experienced in the interview process. Every interviewer discussed wanting additional perspective from someone outside the company due to the teams long tenure and to help refine their culture of meaningful change vs changing just to change. I walked away feeling pretty neutral about the experience due to the circumstances although I do appreciate them sharing more than a generic rejection after 4 interviews. Most of the interviews were formal / conversational which was nice, going through only a few traditional STAR format questions.
