Had a phone screening interview with a recruiter at the end of July. Call went well and I felt good about my chances since the recruiter consistently mentioned that I would enjoy speaking with the hiring manager (the next step in the process) and seemed very pleased with my answers. She stated that she’d be speaking with the hiring manager that Friday and I should hear back shortly about next steps. Fast forward to today, 8/15, and I’ve heard nothing. No rejection email or status update. Status on their website still says interview, job is still posted, and my follow-up to the recruiter went unanswered. I was really excited about this opportunity, but if this is how they handle business, I dodged a bullet.
